Are You Living On Purpose?

June is turning out to be my month for new book promotions! Next week I'll be meeting Lisa Haneberg as she zooms in to Fargo on her promotional tour for her newest book Two Weeks to a Breakthrough.

This week I'm turning the spotlight on another new book I'm helping promote. Brad Swift, author of the blog Living and Working on Purpose has a very cool idea for the promotion of his brand new book Life on Purpose: Six Passages to an Inspired Life: he's doing a virtual blog tour.

As a life purpose coach, I'm honored to be one of the promoters for Brad's book (in fact, I passed the book on to another life purpose coach here in Florida who also found it to be a wonderful resource).

Brad does a great job giving readers an idea of what life purpose is all about and, through personal stories from his own life, he helps us define our own purpose. He invites us to imagine a world where everyone knows - and lives - his or her life purpose ... a world in which we're all living on purpose in a World on Purpose. What a great image!

This book ties in so well with what I'm learning this week at Bob Proctor's consultant training: we really can have outstanding results by simply making new choices despite our conditioned cultural responses. We are given six passages to the purposeful path: 1) Preparing for the Journey (if we don't know where we're going, we'll probably end up somewhere else; 2) Starting on the Purposeful Path with the Life on Purpose Perspective (which will open a door to a new world of purpose and possibility); 3) Uncovering What Has Been Shaping Your Life: Your Inherited Purpose (living with what others have told us); 4) Clarifying and Polishing Your True, Divinely Inspired Purpose; 5) Learning the Tools for Living on Purpose; and 6) Mastering the Tools for Living on Purpose.

Throughout the book we are given great ideas for learning to be authentic, to create new possibilities and to share them with others, and to get rid of old paradigms that we might not even realize have been shaping our lives.

As a graduate of Landmark Education's Curriculum for Living, I'm wondering if Brad Swift has also participated in this education because I recognize a lot of similarities in the concepts. Regardless, I was glad to read so many great ideas which really helped reinforce what I'd learned during that training, which was hugely significant to me when I completed it in 2003.

There is a lot of information in this book - and it may be a lot to swallow in one sitting, so make sure you allow yourself enough time to really digest the important lessons and wisdom. If you're ready to improve the results in your own life - and help others find those answers in their own lives - this is a great tool.

Jodee, what a time you must be having/creating in Florida. Don't let the info sweat through you (I hear it's hot this time of year)...

What a dear you are to help others share their gift with others through the power of words and concepts. The "Purpose" book sounds wonderful. In an article I read of Procters, he states that if we are not living our purpose nothing is right and we will wander without direction and joy in life. Purpose is what you love to do, what makes your heart sing and your various visions express this purpose.
Enjoy the rest of your week there.

Thanks for the comment, Gina. This is a great book and one I'm sure anyone who wants to delve more deeply into their own lives would find great value in. Thank you, too, for helping me realize my purpose. I'm blessed to have you in my life!

greetings .. i did Landmark (actually reviewed it from the original est training). And while it seems like a lifetime ago, lots of the "ahas" still resonate.

The absolute best program was the 6 day course! Can you say "breakthroughs"?
